Knockout bollywood movie
After a long break, Sanjay Dutt has again brought himself back into the industry in his latest movie Knockout. Knockout was released on 15th of October, 2010 and the co-stars in this movie are Kangna Ranaut and Irfan Khan. Rumor is all around that this movie has been copied from a Hollywood blockbuster “Phone Booth” but still director and producer of this movie have not disclosed anything before media and have rebuffed this fact. But as per the views of viewers, this movie has been adopted from a bollywood movie, “A Wednesday”. Gaurov Dasgupta has given best music for this film where as Sanjay Wandrekar and Atul raninga have contributed in the background score. Apoorva Lakhiya has made his debut in this movie.
Director of this movie is Mani Shankar who has put his maximum efforts to make Knock out a magical blockbuster but far apart from “A Wednesday”, this movie introduces boredom. Unlike “A Wednesday” knockout seems to be sermonizing and therefore fails to leave any impact on the viewers. First half can be endurable but as far as second half is concerned, it would be a real test of your endurance. If we talk about Sanjay Dutt then he seemed to be the only guy who acted industriously. Kangna Ranaut has played a character of a new reporter which may be said as an absolute oddity. The way she delivered dialogues and her intonation was entirely horrendous and atrocious. Sushant Singh has played a role of a decent police officer. So in short we can say that Knock out falls short in delivering a “thump”.
