Action Replay- Retro Looks and Good Music

If you are expecting to watch a sensible movie that will take you to the old genre of 70’s and you can enjoy the romance and styles from that era, then please, beware!! Nothing like that is going to happen. The moment the time machine appears in the movie, the logic takes its exit. Whatever, happen after that is just a shapeless thing.

The movie starts with introduction of Bunty (Aditya Roy Kapoor) whose parents Kishen (Akshay Kumar) and Mala (Aishwarya Rai-Bacchan) are staying separate as both of them can not tolerate each other’s nature. Bunty comes across a time machine which he finds at his girlfriend’s grandfather whose role is played by Randhir Kapoor. Bunty has an idea to go back in the past time when his parents are young. He wants them to fall in love with each other. Actually that is all what can be said about the story line of the movie which is not so strong but is surely cheesy and not-so-specific type.

Two strong points of this movie are gags which are not too tiresome or intelligent, appearance of Akshay Kumar in retro looks. Cool looks of Aishwarya Rai-Bacchan give a somewhat soothing effect while watching the film.

The characters in the movie are totally shade-less, they are either black or white which do not appeal to be realistic. They are too loud. Despite of all these drawbacks, the performance by the stars is surely a plus point for this movie. They have performed to their best possible to make the film watchable at least for once. The new face Aditya Roy Kapoor has also done a good job, whereas, Rannvijay Singh makes a notable presence as a villain.

Golmaal 3 – Full Enjoyment for Whole Family

In the history of Hindi cinema, it has happened for the first time that a two sequels of the same film are created. This is a very normal thing for Hollywood to make four or five sequels of the same movie. While making sequels, it is very important to keep the characters and story continue from the original one. Golmaal 3 is a perfect chemistry as its two earlier films. Let make it very clear that Golmaal 3 is a movie which should be watched without any kind of logical questions. The brains should be kept out of the cinema hall and you must just enjoy the jokes and the situations of the characters. Watching this movie with family and friends is a great event for Diwali when everyone is in the mood of enjoyment. Rohit Shetty’s comedy formula works for the third time.

In this third version of Golmaal, there are some new characters along with the original ones to create loads of laughter. Madhav, Laxman and Lucky are sons of Pritam and four of them are busy to get funds from ‘Vasooli’ for their so-called innovative schemes throughout the movie. But their luck is not so good. In every scheme, they face a tough competition from Gopal(Ajay), Dabbu(Kareena) and Laxman(Shreyas Talpade). This tri-some is funded by Puppy bhai whose role is played by the one and only Comedy King – Johny Lever.

These two groups keep on destroying each other’s schemes and business until Dabbu makes finds that their parents and ex-lovers and make them marry with each other. But soon the fact is open to all the step brothers and then the situation becomes worse. The hilarious war between these two groups of brothers starts directly in front of their parents. What happens next, do all brothers agree with each other, do their parents have some peace? To find answers its best to watch the movie at least once.

Going the Distance – an excellent love chemistry with pinch of comedy

When it comes to Nanette Burstein most of the people remember the American Teen and The Kid Stays in the Picture two of the best featured documentaries that have an everlasting effect on the audience. But the same director releases the movie namely Going the Distance; it is really her brilliant direction of this romantic comedy.

Erin (Drew Berrymore) meets Justin Long (Garrette) in a bar trivia and get close to him after some personal meetings. There is no denying the fact that both the characters have been played in some excellent manner by the actors and also, they have done fair with the role. The movie is romantic and has some comedy. In fact, this movie has a mixture of very strong love theme that has been portrayed with extra vengeance and taste of romance along with some comedy.

Erin has to return to California in the next six weeks from New York where she has a summer internship and met with Garrette. That is why she is quite reluctant in meeting him and tries initially to ignore. But when it comes to separation period, it goes very peculiar. As the movie proceeds you will find a certain degree of suspense in it though the movie has just flat theme.

The presence of the TV characters has certainly made this movie more a comedy and it is really an awesome movie that incorporates some bitter scenes of romantic comedy. The theme of love has been screen played in the best manner by Burstein.

Wild Target – Lynn in a bit poor moviemaking with no grabbing inertia

When it comes to a British drama encrypted with some salts of comedy, you may get bored from the director of “Nuns of the Rum”, Jonathan Lynn. This is a story of an aged assassin who feels trapped in the love of one of his targets and the whole drama revolves about the same axial theme. In fact, the killer Victor (Bill Nighy) is a bit confused and sexually dramatic with some pings of anxiousness that has turned into this role through a series of unlawful and unexpected events in his life.

On the other hand, Emily Blunt has played the role of a sexy lady as the loving target for Victor. No doubt, the movie lacks completely in the deep core and it fuses the drama with some unnecessary hits in order to captivate the audience. There has been some unscrupulous ideas and screenplay that do not suit the movie theme. Although it is discussed as the remake of French comedy hit “Cible Emouvante” yet it has not been filmed in such an honest and beautiful way.

The whole story is quite confusing, deviating and of no sense when it comes to a complete analysis by the audience. There is no denying the fact the movie has no bonding inertia for the people who love comedies but it may be seen as an awful remake by the Britishers who enjoy everything in nothing special. From such a good and expert director, Lynn has failed to convince his ideas and it is really sarcastic that he considers it as the best comedy drama ever.

Rakht Charitra – RGV brilliantly directed this gruesome flick

A real Bollywood blood-fed picture, that has brought the whole platform in devastating form. Ram Gopal Verma again hyped this movie theme much before its release as he does and thinks that his movies are quite appealing to masses. The core theme of the movie is about a gore incident in South India that he screen played in the cinema. In fact, many of the experts treat it as the most violent Hindi movie made ever and it is true to most of the extent.

RGV is sensational when you analyze the movies like Company, Satya and the same is true with Rakht Charitra. Vivek Oberoi has done justice with his role but, no doubt he does not have the potential and guts to sweep the box office on his own credit. This movie is a clear mixture of action, thrills, intrigues and devastating blood baths. The other characters that have influenced the theme of the movie are Ashish Vidyarthi (Manda), Kitty (Narsimha Reddy) and Radhika Apte (Nandini).

There is no denying the fact that there are certain god and superb aspects of the picture that include the best composition of the background music and better running of the movie throughout the end. Also, it has a superb action-play and top-notch direction of RGV that has lured the audience. If you have now watched a Hindi cinema that has crispy mixture of assassinations supported by background music and family-feuds, you may visit the nearest theater for an awesome entertainment full of action, thrills and blood. No doubt, with exaggeration of violent scenes in the movie, it is customary for the loyal fans of RGV only to watch this film.

Secretariat – a makeshift drama for the horse-racing lovers

When it comes to sole issue of horse racing, there are few movies released till now that has captured the attention of the viewers. However, this movie of Disney, Secretariat turned the previous records in a new dramatic scene; that neither goes with a pace nor it bores you with the characters. Mike Rich write the screenplay and the movie is based on Secretariat The Making of A Champion, a book written by William Nack.

The story deals with the framework of save-the-farm concept in which Diane Lane (Penny Tweedy) is compelled to sale her property after death of her parents. The property also includes stable that is lovable, beautiful but of no concern if any profit is considered. This is really interesting that Lane was well dressed and played the role of a brilliant daughter and a devoted caretaker for the stable in the movie. A diseased father’s wishes give her a new idea to race the new horse, namely Big Red in the racing competition in Kentucky Derby, Belmont and Preakness and that’s too in succession. John Malkovich has also made his significant presence as the Secretariat’s trainer.

The whole story is a manufactured drama making the audience to see how the horse wins the race. It is really astonishing for the director, Randall Wallace that he had chosen the topic of a meadow to showdown the recent trend. There are some peculiar and beautiful scenes of the Secretariat that may captivate you although the movie drags only till the end. The lovers of the horses may like this movie in spite of certain faults in the script.

Inspector Bellamy –a legendary movie from a legendary actor “Depardieu”

Inspector Bellamy is the latest Hollywood movie shot and directed in France by the popular French director Claude Chabrol. This was released on 29th of October, 2010. It is a criminal feature film in which a leading role of Inspector Bellamy has been played by Gerard Depardieu. However, he a played of role of a detective too. In this entire movie, Gerard finds himself inquiring the spouse of deserter murder suspect. The name of the inspector in this movie is Paul Bellamy. He is supposed to be the last of the producer’s confusing character. He is a popular police inspector whose mind is so methodical that nothing can be resisted itinerant towards conundrum even if he is on feast in Nimes.

The concluding movie of French auteur Chabrol was supposed to be his very first collaboration with legendry artist Gerard Depardieu which is also supposed to be the main reason to have a look at this inscrutable mysterious story. This movie has been distributed globally by world popular distributors IFC films. As far as the running duration of this movie is concerned, it is 101 minutes. This movie is co produced by Alicelio Cinema. The original language in which movie has been released in France is French however, now, this movie is about to get released in few other languages too.

This is completely a drama based on some mysterious, criminal acts and some actions. The main producer is Patrick Godeau where as its music has been directed by Matthieu Chabrol. It is running worldwide successfully and we can call it as a super hit.

Dus Tola – takes viewers in the olden era

If we go in our childhood then we can remember so many such stories that are associated with some moral at the end. Dus Tola is a latest Bollywood movie which is all about such stories that takes us back in that era when stories used to be followed with some morals. The story of Dus Tola seems to be much similar to a Malayalam film “Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu” whose director was Ajoy Varma. This entire movie is all around some comic moments and hence seems to be a funny film. However as far as its genre is concerned, it has been revealed as a drama.

This movie was released in 22nd of October, 2010 and has been produced under the banner “Aryans Brothers Entertainment”. It has been produced by the combination of three producers namely Sanjay Bhattacharya, Sushma Reddy, Kunwar Pragya Arya. Manoj Bajpai has played a leading role of Shankar Sunar in this movie where as Aarti Chhabria has played a role of Suvarnalata Shastri. A conventional love story is shown in this movie between Manoj and Aarti.

Dus Tola is tarnished by a lethargic 1st half where as in the second half; this movie is scarcely taken ahead. Manoj Bajpai has played a praiseworthy character in the second half on this movie. If we talk about its climax then it is something which again takes you back in the movie. Hence it can be said as a highlight. Music direction is done by Sandesh Shandilya and is being praised. Hence, in precisely, Dus Tola is a sensible movie which has some funny incorporation and hence it is being admired and appreciated by viewers.

Life As We Know It – the blossoming of love delicacies

This film is no doubt, a great drama movie with entertaining comedy characters around and it has the potential to cast the two very simple yet superb themes of love. The genre of love is unexpectedly being spoiled by the recent trend but Greg Berlanti; the director of the movie is a great man who incorporated everything in the film. This film is a story of two opposite sex getting in love when they come closer while caring for an orphaned girl. Their characters as the caretakers for the orphaned girl are superb and astonishing, too.

Holly Berenson and Eric Messer plays leading roles of Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel respectively in this movie. They try to keep the daughter of the couples Hayes MacArthur (Peter), and her best friend, Christina Hendricks (Alison) who sadly died in an accident. Heigl and Josh decided to adopt and care the orphaned daughter of theirs’ Sophie. While the caretaking process of Sophie goes on, Josh falls in love with Heigl and the love blossoms with its full potential with an increase in their proximity. There is no denying the fact that the movie has the potential of Oscar with such a good script, better role playing characters and the love innovative drama that fully depicts what happens when the love begins and prospers.

With the romantic chemistry that includes both the Messer and the Holly in its hands, the intrinsic love story flourishes with all its intricacies and delicacies whereas Sophie is in her own life, enjoying the next parents.

Hisss – Sherawat once again in a nightmare experience picture

With all the possibility in the recent times to direct a film in Bollywood on the modern topics like The Robot etc, Hisss is all about the same old theme of Naagin (female serpent) but with a little bit different script. There is no denying the fact the movie has been popularized much as per the following habits of Aamir Khan 3 Idiots and Raajneeti. But, in spite of all the sponsoring and the various popularity methods, the movie failed to rock the theaters like the previous image of Mallika.

The Hollywood director Jennifer Lynch tried his best to give the spectators a high quality visual effects and thundering experience of an “Ichhadhari Naagin” (female serpent who has hidden powers to change herself in woman and vice versa whenever she desires so) but to no values at all. The story is very simple and devastating yet the role may be the sole reason behind the initial huge attraction of the public to the screens. George (Jeff Doucette) who is a ruthless American visits one of the dangerous forests of India and captures the mate of the naagin. The story is about the vengeance of the naagin in the pursuits of her captured mate. Mallika Sherawat in the role of the naagin tries to search her mate and destroys the whole city and kills anonymously the various people related to her tragedy who she thinks the responsible for the same.

Irfan Khan (Vikram) plays the role of the spy to detect the killer for the unknown and mysterious killings in the city. No doubt, Hisss has been badly churned yet the direction is a perfect blend of reality and visual effects. No doubt, the movie is a nightmare!!
